Contributor

In November, Microsoft is rolling out a new feature in MS Teams. All-new MS Teams’ meeting recordings will expire after 60 days and move to the Recycle bin. The media files will live in a Recordings folder on OneDrive (Non-Channel) or SharePoint (Team Channel) instead of the previous location, Stream.

Watch the video for more information about:

• What is the Recording Auto-Expiration feature?

• Who is impacted by this feature?

• What is Non-channel and Team Channel?

• Where are the Recordings stored?

• Who has access to the recordings?

• Who is the recording owner?

• What happens after the recordings are moved to the Recycle Bin?

• And, some additional key factors that improve the user experience.
