I help organisation plan and implement digital workplaces that leverage Microsoft 365 and Azure services using my experience over 20 years of working with businesses across many industry sectors. I'm passionate about sharing my learning with others though community groups and conferences and regular present at the Auckland Microsoft 365 User Group that I am also a leader of. I started out as a programmer in some very old Microsoft tech working for an engineering company in the UK and was given the opportunity to work with some internet publishing tools to push drawing designs and stats to remote locations. Since then I've grown my knowledge in how to present and provide useful, discoverable content to end users that is ever evolving as technology changes and how people work evolves to social interactions. I moved to New Zealand in 2006 for a better environment for my family without a job to go to and only 2 jobs on seek for SharePoint designers and developers. Now there are many roles across the Microsoft 365 platform and organisations using the online services for their communication and collaboration services. I joined Provoke in 2011 after chatting to Brendon Ford who is a director of the company to this day about the direction the organisation was going in and what a role could look like that grew my career into consulting and designing and less developing. Adoption forms a part of every engagement I now have with Provoke's customers to ensure what we design and deliver is utilised by end users and ultimately provides benefits for our customers in employees satisfaction and efficiencies in working. Specialties: Information Architecture, Microsoft 365 service design and architecture design
