Teams external problem

Hello Teams Community,

Please I need your help on this.

We are having problems with external users who are now part of our organization.

Some of our users and external users cannot chat and also cannot request control from either end. 

Below are the error message

their status is showing do not disturb as shown below:

Please seek tech support assistance at answers.microsoft.com, where there are authorized Microsoft agents available to further troubleshoot with you until your issue is resolved.

If they were indeed once guests and are now users in your org, I'd first suggest looking a removing their guest account.
