Porting numbers from Microsoft

Please i need your help on this.

We are porting existing Microsoft calling plan numbers over to NTT as the Telco provider using DRaaS (Direct routing) and are looking to put together a smooth process for the day of the port with recommended timings for required actions.

We expect to have to remove the calling plan license and once the port has completed re-enable the Teams EV users for voice via Direct routing.

Are there any other things we should be considering in the Henkel tenant?

I would say the process is described well in docs

So I would consider unsinging the number first as suggested.
These days you have also different commands on newer powershell Teams module which lets you specify new phone number type on assigned number.
