Hi guys,

I am setting up a dashboard which will source information from different monthly data. Each months datasheet is of the same format and quite big with employee names, salaries and a host of other staff related data as I will be reporting on quite a lot of different KPi's on my dashboard.

The goal is to be able to filter directly on the dashboard. As I have finished the dashboard based on only the first month's data (via pivot tables + pivot charts) and adding the other months data on SEPERATE TABS, my file is becoming very big and slow and I am beginning to wonder if this is the most efficient way to go about it. As the data for each month is on different sheets how can I go about setting this up.

Getting a bit frustrated and looking if there are better ways to do this.

My ideal target: I simply put each months datasheet in a folder and the dashboard automatically updates based on the new data added.

Please ask any questions if my explanation above is not clear enough. Thanks in advance guys! Any help is much appreciated.

Why don't you use power BI or Tableau?
It would make your life much easier
If you know Excel moving to these won't take a huge investment from your side

Thanks for the feedback.@Ramiz_Assaf
