In traditional office settings, O365 users can see your OOTO notice in your profile on Teams and in Outlook. However, as Community Managers on Yammer, how do you let your frontline workers, who only use Yammer, know that you're away on vacation or away for an extended period of time?
I'm currently on vacation and I can see employees sending DMs to my inbox on Yammer. I don't want to ignore them because they're not aware that I'm off, but I also want to be respectful of my time off to disconnect.
I have submitted a recommendation to Microsoft to develop a way to inform Yammer users when employees/community manager are OOTO.
Some of our Community Managers make a post and PIN it to the top of their community. You can also delegate someone to help manage the direct messages as well. I wonder if there's a "BOT" you could create using PowerApps... for a response during a certain time if you are @mentioned... That could be interesting!
