Here's the full case we're running into:

Microsoft Teams site created in main tenant (US) which has an associated Office 365 Group. If a user from one of our GEO tenants (in this case Canada) is added to the group they can access the Team and are in the Office 365 Group permissions but, they are not added to the SharePoint permissions. We are having to locally add these users to see Files/SharePoint site.
Thu, 17 Sep 2020 18:57:40 GMT HonigKlug 2020-09-17T18:57:40Z Office 365 Multi-Geo
Hi All,

I have been researching Office 365 Multi-Geo and i have some conflicting information

500 licenses to qualify for the Multi-Geo Location

I have to buy Multi-Geo Capability Subscription

I need to buy licenses for

Users

Group

Shared Mailboxes

Resource Mailboxes

Has anyone done this

i have 2 tenants which i need to migrate to and keep data in 2 locations

i would like to have 1 Office 365 Multi-Geo tenant

support for this feature is limited and pricing structure

Fri, 21 Feb 2020 17:04:01 GMT john austin 2020-02-21T17:04:01Z Permissions required for Multi-Geo Ediscovery
Hi,

I have a few questions on the eDiscovery feature for Multi-Geo.

1. Consider there are three regions N.America being the central region and B and C being the satellite location. Should 3 user accounts be created and assigned Region parameter using Compliance Security Filter for each? Or will it be fine if one user account with the eDiscovery admin rights is provided?

2. Can a Global admin be able to perform eDiscovery across the Geo without having to assign eDiscovery manager of eDiscovery admin role

3. Can multiple regions be assigned to a user account through the Compliance Security Filter?

4. If the SharePoint/Onedirve is moved to a new location, then the content in the site will still be on hold if there is an existing hold. Is it the best approach to replace the old location with new or just add the new location without removing the old location.

5. What would happen to the existing data when the old location is replaced with the new location in the eDiscovery hold.

Thanks in advance!
Thu, 14 Nov 2019 10:02:11 GMT frank525 2019-11-14T10:02:11Z O365 Multi-Geo & Multi Tenant

Hello, I would need "Office 365 multigeographic" feature.
